Golden Nugget Sign Online Gambling Deal

Golden Nugget, the Vegas casino-hotel, owned and operated by Landry’s Inc. has announced its partnership with Chili Gaming, the developer and operator of multi-platform social games and gambling products.

This deal is targeted at entering the U.S online gambling market, should it become legal, focused particularly on online poker.Chiligaming’s CEO and Founder, Alexandre Dreyfus said they are very happy with this deal. Golden Nugget enjoys an unequalled and sound reputation in the land based casino sector in the U.S, which makes them the ideal partner for the online gambling venture.

Tilman J. Fertitta, the Golden Nugget’s Chairman and Owner, he commented on the deal saying they had been looking for ideal candidates for this project about nine months ago. They had a pool of several gaming companies to pick from but they chose Chiligaming due to their expertise in the online gambling sector.

He indicated that he thought Chilli gaming have shown drive, aptitude and a unique savoir faire, which excelled by far the other contenders.

Chiligaming has an internet gambling platform, which can connect to any gaming content provider or network and it can also adjust to different regulated markets. This is an important feature which paves the way to many possibilities when online gambling is regulated in the U.S.

Online gambling is now more than ever a reality in the United States. When it is legalized, Fertitta is positive Golden Nugget will be ready and strong enough to fight against any ensuing competition.

Golden Nugget intends to launch their website mid 2012 and will only offer free play in the beginning. But Fertitta is hopeful online gambling will be closer to being legalized in the U.S by then.
